I know that their are several components to a good gaming computer, but what are the important things that I need first. I am building a computer from scratch, and I'm not sure if I need to start with a really good motherboard, or lots of memory or what.
What is most important in a gaming computer?
Pwer Supply, Processor, Motherboard, RAM, and Video Card.
After selecting a good power supply.
You want to start by looking at your processor, wehter it is AMD or Intel.
Followed by your motherboard and the chipset.
Then RAM and your video card.

Reply:Everything has importance, you will need a fairly fast processor 1gb+ of RAM and a 128mb graphics card or better. Don't neglect the hard ddrive and make sure it is 7200rpm or faster with a fast connection type (sata I or II).
Reply:start with a good processor and a good graphics card. Then do memory. Then motherboard. And last sound card.
