The Vista notebook computer can easily get the files from the Millenium through the router; but the Millenium has locked up in its effort to open up the "public file" from Vista! The Millenium computer is directly hooked up to the router with a cable.
Home Network: Can one wirelessly share files of a Vista based computer to a Millenium based computer?
That would like be due to the difference in File Systems being used by Vista and Win ME. ME I believe still uses the old FAT32 system, while Vista uses the newer one.
Reply:Might check your Vista for any firewalls that are in use from Mcafee/Norton the new pc's come with a trial version and might lock down more then crapillenium.
