How do I know if my computer has stored my credit card details?

I have given my details to ebay, paypal, yahoo, amazon %26amp; maybe some others but how do I know if the info is stored on my computer? I do online banking as well. Can this info be accessed by phishing?

How do I know if my computer has stored my credit card details?
If you are using IE check the Autocomplete setting under Content on the Internet Options page under Tools.

It options are turned on then probably yes they are saved on your puter.
Reply:No because the security of the sites is goodemnough and has very up to date anti-phishing software just make sure you never put them into a site that doesn't give the message "you are about to veiw sites over a secure connection"
Reply:Commonly, nothing should keep records of your credit card details. Having said that look for the following,

1. Autocomplete in browsers (such as Internet Explorer and Firefox)

2. Google/Yahoo toolbars that offer autocomplete features as well.

3. Other application that stores information "on your behalf".

Word of advice, disable autocomplete features on all browsers, remove any toolbars, Add-ons you don't need as well as any memory-resident programs (commonly those ones that sit to your tray, next to the clock).

Also since our CC information are everywhere these days (I can't even remember how many people have seen my details from ebay to amazon to the waiter at my local Pizza Hut) it's a good idea to check your statement for all transactions every month. Or even better if you have a Bank that supports them, one-off credit card numbers you can generate via your online bank application and charge them with a specific amount of money.
