My mom has moved her computer into a Florida room that doesn't have heat. It has a wall mounted ventless gas heater in there, but that will only be turned on periodically when the room is in use. Since winter is approaching, is it safe for the computer to be in there during the winter, turned off when not in use? Keep in mind the room is enclosed, so it is not in the elements, just very cold in the winter - like getting into your car after it has not been on in a while.
What is the coldest temperature you can keep your computer in?
I've had mine running in the 38 degree area and it worked really good even though i wasn't. And where in Florida does it get that cold? Here in Nebraska it gets really cold like 30 below zero. Now thats cold. Your computer will be fine.
