Reply:If you really want to try and do it yourself, you should do much research on the web. First, learn about networking and then wireless networking and be able to configure the settings in your OS. Second, select appropriate wireless networking hardware by doing product research on the web and knowing what features you want. Then, buy the hardware, install it or set it up, and configure and test it. Pay special attention to security issues. Wireless networks are especially prone to be insecure if not setup by someone knowledgeable. For example, someone could EASILY use a laptop computer in a car parked outside of your site to access the internet and do illegal things via your wireless network if it is not setup securely.

Setting up a wireless network is not a user-level task, There are many issues to consider, not the least of which is security. Get help from someone TRULY knowledgeable if you are not up to the task. It is too involved and not a cut-and-dry simple procedure that someone can give you here. Your exiting hardware will impact what new hardware (if any) you need to purchase.
