How do you switch harddisks in a computer?
Hi,

Try doing this and it will work

It looks like the disk A ( WIN 98 ) is set as primary drive

in order to access your Disk B (Win XP)

take out both harddisks and on your Disk A next to the data bus there will be a small jumper try to switch it

the instructions will be on the Printed label on your disk....

set it to Slave

Now take your Disk B do the same as above but set it to Master.

now connect your Disk A to Secondary Data Bus.

and Disk B to Primary Data Bus

now restart your computer press f1 or f2, It will take you to BIOS then at the drives observe wether it is recognizing both drives and save the confoguration by pressing f10

restart the computer it will load xp..........
