Hi there.
I am performing computer support for my parents (installing new computer/Vista, troubleshooting techinical issues--Palm pilot, printer, scanners, software setup, etc).
The support given is for their actual business, not for personal use; I am unsure what to charge for typical computer support for the above items. Anyone have an idea? I cannot find what actual companies would charge. I myself am thinking $50.00 per hour; not too sure if that is too much, or too little.
Any thoughts ?
Thanks!
What is a an acceptable fee to charge for computer support?
I don't know what size city you are in, but in Kansas City that is more than reasonable, and for a business $100.00 would not be unreasonable. Check out Best Buy or circuit city online. they should show the rates they charge for the Geek Squad and Fire Dog. It is your parents, could you ask them what they think is reasonable?
