My computer has caught a virus or something, and it sends annoying pop-ups and slows down my computer. It gives a rundll3 error, and i want to get rid of it. Help?

Reply:if you have yahoo messenger there was a virus that came thru it i just had my computer restored becaues of it the virus wasnt detected until this past friday i had issues the wednesday before you think that yahoo would have had better protection to let us know but it will destroy your computer files so youll have to have it serviced hope this helped
Reply:rundll32 is a very important windows file. Whatever has happened to your computer has corrupted or damaged that file. You do not want to get rid of rundll32, but whatever is causing the problem. You may end up having to do a windows restore or a fresh windows install on the computer.
