I wish to record guitar, bass, and vocals directly to the computer. I don't want to set up a crappy $5 dollar microphone and then play with my amp facing it, but actually have it go directly into my computer. What would I need to do this? Programs, equipment, anything.

Reply:You have to install a good sound card in your machine and install software like "SOUND FORGE" or so. Go ahead......
